Kinja'd!!!

Volvo question. I have these nets that retract from the back of seats, but I have no idea where they’re supposed to hook in.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Wait, they’re not supposed to go UP are they?

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I do have an 850r interior in my standard 850, so maybe this is an R specific thing?

Keeping Doggos in their own area is a much more pleasant way to drive.

I’de bet there is a bar that goes a cross the back that you are missing. At least it appears that way.

Dog net.

Might be an integrated roll-up dog barrier (with as a main function to keep the dog from climbing over the rear seat)

Pretty sure they go up.

Cant you extend the tube-thing from the right part to go all the way across the car `?

Yeah it should go up, now to see if I can find him a video or diagram.

In my v70 they just went up to separate cargo from passengers. There should also be a spot to put them up with the seats folded down. That’s why they’re so long, not to go all the way to the back.

The 60 part of the back seat with the rod-the rod should pull out to be the full width to hook on both sides. Then the 40 part hooks over the rod.

No no no you’re doing it wrong. T hey lock in at the bottom of the rear of the front seats . Part of the pa ssenger restraint system.

They go up, like a doggo barrier/cargo restraint because safety. Pull both out, the tube slides together between the two seats’ nets, and it hooks to the brackets on each side above the windows.

There is a steel barrier for pets, I think this was more intended for cargo but yeah it goes up.

Kinja'd!!!2

It goes up, not back—dog barrier, not cargo cover. The reason for the black opaque portion is so that you can still use them (behind the front seats) when the seats are folded down, I think.

Does the left hand bit here, pull out? For the other net to clip onto.

They go up into those little hooks you have it in in the last photo. Looks like you are missing a bar or something that connects the two halves.

Last pic is correct placement. They hook into the top and to each other. Those coat hanger looking things next to the window are the mounts.

Soon. Soon...

I really want a PV544 but rhe Amazon is kinda better in every way. But the 544 is soooooooo cooooool. Also all the turbo bricks from the 80s/ early 90s.

I doubt a mod would put you in the greys for that, everyone's argued with His Stigness once or twice.
